Beth Farr, Firm Administrator & Legal Assistant
As Firm Administrator, Beth manages the office as well as assists the attorneys with the firm’s various practice areas. Previously a paralegal in Fayetteville, NC, she was a preschool teacher in Cornelius before joining the firm in December 2001. Beth attended Terry Sanford High School in Fayetteville, NC and the North Carolina School of Science and Math in Durham, NC. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Methodist College, cum laude. Beth's husband Brian and their three children keep her moving outside of office hours. Jennifer Sturgis, Legal Assistant
Previously a student and Spa Coordinator in Sylva, NC, Jennifer came to the firm in May of 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Western Carolina University. She resides in Concord and enjoys spending time with her husband Willie and son Willie IV, and friends and family. Barbara H. Bryan, Communications & Client Services
Inside the office Barbara greets clients, answers and directs phone calls. Outside the office she represents the firm at senior and healthcare related meetings and as an active citizen of the Lake Norman area. Her lifetime involvement in communications began as reporter for The Fayetteville Observer and later Sunday feature editor of Goldsboro News-Argus. Active in Lake Norman Senior Resources (www.lknsr.com) and the Mooresville-South Iredell Chamber’s South Iredell Healthcare Forum, she initiated (with law firm sponsorship) www.LKNSenior.com (coordinated events calendar), CARS (Cultural Arts Reaching Seniors, administered by Cornelius PARC) and the firm’s monthly e-newsletter “Senior News You Can Use.” She is a member of Davidson’s Aging in Place Task Force and the Town’s Community Development study group. At Davidson College Presbyterian Church she chairs semi-annual blood drives, initiated Friends of the Organ, participates in DCPC’s “50s+” group, Book Study with Davidson Presbyterian Church, Adopt A (Davidson College) Student as well as being an active member of its Community Missions Committee. She graduated from St. Mary’s Junior College (Raleigh), Methodist College (Fayetteville) and Virginia Tech with English degrees and continues to write non-fiction and poetry.
